Drug Description:

This medication is used for the relief of symptoms of nasal congestion caused by allergic disorders such as hayfever, sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses), and year-round allergies.Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place. Replace cap immediately after use.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medication can be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking this medicine or change the dose without checking with your health care provider. This could have serious adverse effects. If symptoms persist after three days with the use of this medication, you should contact your health care provider. Prolonged or excessive use of this product may cause an increase in nasal congestion. It is very important to use this medication exactly as recommended by your health care provider. Do not use higher doses than those recommended by your health care provider. If you are using this medication regularly and you miss a dose, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and carry on with your regular schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed one. Since caffeine, alcohol, the nicotine from cigarettes, or street drugs can affect the action of many medications, you should let your prescriber know if you use them. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine if you have narrow angle glaucoma if you are currently taking taking monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitorsBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have impaired kidney or liver function, if you have heart or lung problem if your condition does not improve within 3 days, if it gets worse, if you have difficulty in urination due to enlarged prostate, if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, thyroid disease, or diabetes if you are using MAO Inhibitors.This medicine is for use in the nose only.
