Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat ear infections.Store in a dry place at room temperature between 59 – 86F. Keep out of reach of children and petsHow much medicine you use and how often you use it depend on many factors such as the extent and severity of eye infection. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before using this medicine. Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. To use ear drops: lie down or tilt your head so that the affected ear faces up. For adults: gently pull the earlobe up and back to straighten the ear canal. For children: gently pull the earlobe down and back to straighten the ear canal. Drop the medicine into the ear canal. Keep the ear facing up for several minutes so the medicine can run to the bottom of the ear canal. A clean cotton plug may be gently inserted into the ear canal to prevent medicine from leaking out. To prevent germs from entering the medicine, do not touch the applicator to any surface including the ear. Do not use this medicine if it is brown in color. Store this medicine in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to this or similar medicines or to any ingredient present in this medicine.Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you are taking any herbal products, if you are taking blood thinners if you have stomach problems if you have peptic ulcers if you have any other medical condition like liver or kidney function impairment, heart ot lung problemIf your symptoms do not improve within 3 weeks or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
