Drug Description:

This medicine is used as a contraceptive to prevent pregnancy.Store in a dry place at room temperature between 59 – 86F. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store away from heat and direct light. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicineBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition like heart disease, lung disease, impairment of kidney or liver functions, if you have allergies, irritations, or infections of the genitals, if you have had a recent child birth or abortion, if you have Sores on the genitals (sex organs), if you use vaginal caps or diaphtagm as it increases the risk of developing toxic shock syndrome.For spermicides to work properly to prevent pregnancy, they must stay in contact with the sperm in the vagina for at least 6 or 8 hours (depending upon which brand of spermicide you use) after sexual intercourse. Vaginal douching is not necessary after use of these medicines . Douching too soon (even with just water) may stop the spermicide from working.
