Drug Description:
This medicine is an anti-inflammatory and is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.Store at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist. Do not inject the medication into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, red, or hard or where you have scars or stretch marks. Do not shake the vials or pre-filled syringes of this medicine. Inspect the vial or pre-filled syringe before injection. The liquid should be clear and colorless. Do not use the medication if it is cloudy or discolored, or if it has flakes or particles in it.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medications.Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition like heart disease, lung disease, impairment of kidney or liver functions.Each vial or pre-filled syringe of this medicine is intended for one use only. Throw away any unused portion of the medication. Do not save it for later use, it does not contain a preservative.Most severe: Allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives), numbness, tingling, or weakness, problems with vision, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath, skin rash on the arms or cheeks that is sensitive to the sun.Most common: Headache, nausea, redness, rash, swelling, itching, or bruising where the injection was given.Other: Signs of infection such as fever or chills, sore throat, coughing, congestion, weight loss, night sweats, or other signs of infection; redness, pain, or swelling of a skin wound; or burning or difficult urination.
