Drug Description:

This medicine is used to relieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness and joint pain associated with moderate or severe rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used to treat bursitis, tendinitis (acute painful shoulder), acute gouty arthritis, and other kinds of pain.Store at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Severe high blood pressure can occur if certain nasal decongestants are taken with this medicine. This medicine may produce dizziness or drowsiness; patients should observe caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Do not stop taking this medication without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medication than is prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take this medicine on an empty stomach, always take it with food or milk and a full glass of water. Do not lie down for about 20 to 30 minutes after taking this medicine. This helps prevent irritation that could lead to trouble in swallowing.
