Drug Description:

This medicine is an anesthetic. It is used to cause numbness in the area of the body where it is injected e.g. before and during surgery or other procedures, childbirth, or dental work.Store at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. seizures (convulsions), skin rash, itching (hives), swelling of the face or mouth, tremorsMost common: Numbness or tingling of the face or mouth, pain at the injection site, back pain, constipation, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, feeling restless or anxious, headache, pain, redness, or swelling at the site of injection, shivering, shaking, or tremors.Other: Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing, chest pain, uneven heartbeat, trouble breathing, lightheadedness or fainting, numbness in another part of your body that has not been treated with this medicine, ringing in your ears, seizures.
