Drug Description:
This medicine is used for the relief of dry mouth.Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place.This medicine is a new class of oral moisturizer that creates a homogeneous layer in the mouth that has a viscosity and lubricity similar to saliva. People with dry mouth experience not only discomfort but also difficulties with eating, speaking, and sleeping, in addition to severe and rapid onset of dental caries (tooth decay). This medicine contains natural mucopolysaccharides, extracted from the Yerba Santa plant. These mucopolysaccharides mimic the glycoproteins in saliva by holding the aqueous component in contact with the epithelial cells, which protects moisture. This medicine is sugar and alcohol free with a pleasant lemon-lime taste, and is sweetened with Xylitol which has been shown to help resist the formation of dental caries.
