Uses and Dosage
Gently clear your nasal passages by blowing your nose prior to employing this medication. Employ your fingertip to seal the nostril on the side that won’t be receiving the medication. While maintaining an upright head posture, insert the spray nozzle into the unobstructed nostril. Administer the medication into the nostril as you inhale through your nose. Inhale forcefully a few times to ensure that the medication penetrates deep into the nasal cavity. If necessary, repeat these steps for the opposite nostril.
Caution should be exercised to prevent misting the medication into the eyes or onto the central area of the nasal septum.
Following each usage, rinse the spray nozzle with hot water or wipe it using a clean tissue. Ensure that no water enters the container. Securely replace the cap after each application.
This medication imparts only temporary relief. Adhere to the prescribed frequency and duration of use, refraining from excessive application, extra sprays, or prolonged usage, as these actions could heighten the risk of adverse effects. Moreover, the medication should not be used for more than three consecutive days, as it could lead to a phenomenon known as rebound congestion. Symptoms of rebound congestion encompass persistent redness and swelling inside the nasal passages, accompanied by escalated nasal discharge. Should such symptoms emerge, discontinue the use of this medication and seek counsel from your doctor or pharmacist.
Side Effects

- headache
- rebound congestion (worsening congestion as a result of overusing the medication)
- sneezing
- trouble sleeping

- palpitations (heartbeat that is fast, irregular, or pounding)
- restlessness
- difficulty breathing
- swelling of face or throat
