Drug Description:

This medicine is used to relieve itching, allergy, and inflammation of the skin.Store at room temperature. Keep away from heat or flame. Do no freeze.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Apply a thin film of medicine to the affected area 2 to 4 times daily or as directed by your health care provider. Do not cover, bandage, or wrap the area being treated unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Report any irritation or other side effects to your health care provider, especially under an occlusive dressing. Avoid prolonged use, especially near the eyes, on the face, on genital and rectal areas, and in skin folds. Skin infections may worsen. It may be necessary to stop using this medicine and treat the infection. Skin wasting may occur after 3 to 4 weeks of regular daily use. Allergic reactions may occur. If the condition worsens or irritation, burning, redness, swelling, or stinging persists, do not reapply. Contact your doctor. Tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants should not be used on a child being treated in the diaper area. Lab tests may be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider.
