Description

Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat certain types of eye inflammation.Store between 59 and 86 degrees F. Protect from freezing. Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use.How much medicine you use and how often you use it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are using, talk with your health care provider. Shake well before using. Do not allow the tip of the applicator to touch eyelids or any other surface to avoid contamination. This medicine may cause sensitivity to light. This may be reduced by wearing sunglasses. If inflammation or pain continues for more than 48 hours or increases, stop using this medicine and talk with your doctor. Continue use for the recommended length of treatment. If this medicine is used for more than 10 days, lab tests will be needed to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not use more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, use it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medications you have viral diseases of the eye, including herpes, vaccinia, or varicella you have mycobacterial or fungal eye infectionsBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have glaucoma if you have any other eye condition if you have any other medical conditionThis medicine is for external use only. Prolonged use of this medicine may result in glaucoma, damage to the optic nerve, defects in visual acuity and visual field, posterior subcapsular cataract formation, and/or may aid in the establishment of secondary ocular infections from pathogens due to suppression of host response.Most severe:  Glaucoma; loss of vision; cataracts; inability to focus; delayed wound healing.Most common:  Increase in inner eye pressure; redness; sores on the eye; secondary eye infection; enlarged pupils.Other: Stinging or burning of eye

Contra Indication:
