Description

Indications

This combination medication is prescribed to address various skin conditions, including eczema and fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It comprises two active ingredients. Clioquinol is an antibiotic that operates by inhibiting the growth of fungus and bacteria. Flumethasone is a gentle corticosteroid that functions by diminishing the swelling, redness, and itching experienced in the affected skin.

Uses and Dosage

Apply this medication exclusively on the skin. Before application, ensure the area is clean and completely dry. Follow your doctor’s instructions and gently rub a thin layer of the medication onto the affected area, typically 3 to 4 times daily. After application, wash your hands unless the medication is being applied to the hands.

Avoid wrapping, covering, or bandaging the treated area unless directed by your doctor.

Do not apply the medication to the eyes, nose, mouth, or inside the vagina. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

Adhere strictly to the prescribed frequency and duration of use; applying more frequently or for longer periods than directed may heighten the risk of adverse effects.

For optimal results, use this medication consistently at the same times each day.

Continue using it until the full prescribed amount is completed, even if symptoms alleviate within a few days. Ceasing treatment prematurely could lead to a recurrence of the infection.

Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.
