This medicine is used for short-term relief of cold and flu symptoms, such as minor aches and pains, headache, muscle aches, fever, menstrual cramps, arthritis pain and toothache.

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine you are taking another product that contains the active ingredient (acetaminophen) present this medicine

What precautions should I follow when taking Tylenol Regular/Acetaminophen - non Rx?

Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day if you have any other medical condition

What special warning(s) should I be aware of when taking Tylenol Regular/Acetaminophen - non Rx?

Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) of this medicine may cause liver damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Do not use this product with any other product containing acetaminophen. If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your health care provider whether you should take this medicine or similar medicines. Excessive and prolonged use of this medicine may cause liver damage. Check the end panel for lot number and expiration date. Do not use this medicine if the protective seal is broken.

What are the side effects of Tylenol Regular/Acetaminophen - non Rx?

Most severe: Severe allergic reaction (hives, rash, breathing problems, shock), upset stomach

Most common: Nausea, gas

How should I take Tylenol Regular/Acetaminophen - non Rx?

How much medicine you take and how often you take it depend on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not take this medicine for more than 10 days for pain or for more than 3 days for fever unless directed to do so by your health care provider. Stop using this medicine and contact your doctor if any of the following occurs: Symptoms do not improve, new symptoms occur, pain or fever persists or gets worse, or if redness or swelling is present. Do not take more than 8 Tablet in a 24-hour period. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine than is prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.
