Description
Indications
This medication is prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) to mitigate the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It consists of two active ingredients: telmisartan and amlodipine. Telmisartan functions as an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while amlodipine acts as a calcium channel blocker. These components operate in distinct ways to induce relaxation in the blood vessels, facilitating smoother blood flow.
