Uses and Dosage
Consume this medication orally, with or without food, following your doctor’s instructions, usually once a day. The prescribed dosage is determined based on your medical condition and how well you respond to the treatment.
To derive maximum benefits, use this medication consistently. Establish a routine by taking it at the same time every day.
Continue taking the medication even if you feel well, as individuals with high blood pressure often do not experience noticeable symptoms. It may take up to 4 weeks before you observe the full benefits of this drug.

Side Effects
Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention:

Caution

This product may contain inactive ingredients that could trigger allergic reactions or other complications.
- Prior to using this medication, disclose your medical history to your doctor or pharmacist, particularly if you have a history of liver disease, elevated levels of potassium in the blood, dehydration, heart disease (such as aortic stenosis, heart failure), or bile duct blockage.
- This drug may cause dizziness. The consumption of alcohol or marijuana can intensify this effect. Refrain from activities that require alertness, such as driving or using machinery, until you can do so safely.
- Conditions like severe sweating, diarrhea, or vomiting can lead to dehydration and dizziness. Inform your doctor if you experience severe diarrhea or vomiting. To prevent dehydration, ensure you stay well-hydrated unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
- This product has the potential to increase potassium levels. Before using potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Older adults may be more susceptible to the side effects of this drug, especially dizziness and changes in urine output indicating potential kidney problems.
- Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Avoid becoming pregnant while using telmisartan/amlodipine, as telmisartan may pose a risk to the unborn baby. If pregnancy occurs, promptly discuss the risks and benefits of this medication with your doctor.
- It is uncertain whether telmisartan passes into breast milk, while amlodipine does. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
