Description

Indications

This combination of perindopril and indapamide is utilized to manage high blood pressure. Reducing elevated blood pressure aids in preventing strokes, heart attacks, and kidney issues. Perindopril belongs to the class of drugs called ACE inhibitors, functioning by dilating blood vessels to facilitate smoother blood flow. Indapamide falls under the category of diuretics, commonly known as “water pills.” It operates by stimulating urine production, assisting the body in eliminating excess salt and water.

Uses and Dosage

Take this medication orally as prescribed by your doctor, typically once daily in the morning. If you ingest this medication too close to bedtime, you may experience the need to urinate during the night. It’s advisable to take this medication at least 4 hours before bedtime.

The dosage is determined by your medical condition and response to treatment.

Consistently take this medication to derive maximum benefit from it. To aid in remembering, take it at the same time each day.

Continue taking this medication even if you feel well, as many individuals with high blood pressure may not experience symptoms.

It may take several weeks before experiencing the full benefits of this product.

If you are also taking certain medications to lower your cholesterol (such as bile acid-binding resins like cholestyramine or colestipol), take this product at least 4 hours before or after these medications.
