Drug Description:

This medicine is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains associated with the common cold, headache, toothache, muscle aches, backache, arthritis, or menstrual cramps. It is also used to treat fever and migraine headaches.Store between 68 and 77 degrees F. Keep from high humidity and excessive heat (above 104 degrees F).How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated, your age, and weight. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Do not use aspirin or drink alcoholic beverages while taking this medicine. Taking aspirin or drinking alcoholic beverages may increase the chances of side effects. Talk with your health care provider first. If stomach upset occurs, take with food. If stomach upset continues or gets worse, talk with your health care provider. Do not take this medication during the last 3 months of pregnancy. If a serious allergic reaction such as hives, facial swelling, asthma, or shock occurs, contact your health care provider at once. Stop using this medicine and contact your health care provider if stomach pain occurs, the pain gets worse after the first dose, or if new or unexpected symptoms occur. Do not use this medicine for more than 3 days for fever or more than 10 days for pain. Contact your doctor. If fever or pain gets worse, contact your doctor. Do not take more medication than recommended unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medicationsBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if the painful area is red or swollen if you have daily headaches or a headache other than a migraine if you have a fever and stiff neck if your headache is caused by a head injury, exertion, coughing, or bending if your migraine is so severe that it requires bed rest if you experienced your first headache after the age of 50 if you have stomach pain or a history of ulcers or bleeding due to ulcers if your blood does not clot easily if you consume 3 or more alcoholic beverages per day if you have any other medical condition, such as high blood pressure, heart failure, or another condition sensitive to fluid retentionThis medicine should be taken in an upright position.
