This drug consists of two active ingredients, fluticasone and vilanterol, combined in the Breo Ellipta inhalation powder. Fluticasone is a steroid that suppresses the release of substances that brings about inflammation in the body. Vilanterol is a bronchodilator that improves breathing by relaxing muscles in the airways.

Breo Ellipta Dosage
This should be taken as a single inhalation once a day as follows for asthma or COPD.
- For Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- One inhalation of Breo Ellipta 100/25 mcg should be taken once a day. The sole strength indicated for the treatment of COPD is one inhalation per day of Breo Ellipta 100/25 mcg, the maximum recommended dosage.
- Asthma
- The suggested starting dose is one inhalation of 100/25 mcg or Breo Ellipta 200/25 mcg once daily. The gravity of the patient’s illness and previous asthma treatment should be considered when choosing the starting dosage.

Direction

Breo Ellipta Side Effects
This medicine may have the following side effects:
