Description

Drug Description:

This medicine is used to relieve chest pain (Angina) in patients with certain heart condition (coronary and artery disease).Store at room temperature (approximately 77 degrees F). Protect from light. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep medication in original bottle.How much medicine you take and how often it is taken depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Take this medicine with aspirin or acetaminophen to avoid headache. Do not change the time you take this medicine. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine. Dizziness or lightheadedness can occur when rising from a seated or lying position. If fainting occurs, contact your doctor. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine or change the dose unless advised to do so by your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, restart the medication and make your health care provider aware at next visit.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicineBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine or dietary supplements if you have low blood pressure if you have any other medical conditionThis medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with glaucoma, low blood pressure and renal impairment.Most severe:  Chest pain; fainting; rapid heartbeat.Most common:  Headache.Other:  Lightheadedness.
