Drug Description:

This medicine is for the treatment of mild to moderate heart failure and for the control of heart rhythm where the atria of the heart is beating too fast or too irregularly to function properlyy.Store this medicine at room temperature in the container it came in, tightly closed, and away from moist places and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount andperor frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. This medicine must be taken on a regular basis, generally at the same time of the day, usually in the morning. It can be taken without regard to meals. Lab tests may be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments.. Do not take nonpresciption antacids, cough, cold, allergy, and diet medications unless you ask your health care provider or pharmacist. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your doctor. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor. If more than one dose is missed, contact your doctor or pharmacist.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or similar medications you have ventricles of the heart that beat too fast or irregularly to function properlyBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have any other medical condition, especially heart conditionsThis medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with heart disorders, including sinus node disease, AV block, certain disorders of the left ventricle, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, impaired kidney function, thyroid disorder, an imbalance in calcium, potassium, or magnesium levels.Most severe: Apathy, blurred vision, breast development in males, change in heartbeat, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, lower stomach pain, nausea, psychosis, rash, vomiting, weakness, yellow visionMost common:  Stomach and heart disturbances.Other: Upset stomach

Contra Indication:

Severe Side Effects:

Most severe: Apathy, blurred vision, breast development in males, change in heartbeat, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, lower stomach pain, nausea, psychosis, rash, vomiting, weakness, yellow vision

Common Side Effects:

Most common:  Stomach and heart disturbances.
