Drug Description:

This medicine is used to treat mild to moderate pain/inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors may occasionally prescribe it for other reasons.Store between 59 to 86 degrees F. Keep in a tight, light-resistant container.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the patient leaflet provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Swallow Tablet whole. Do not crush, break, or chew them. Avoid taking aspirin or similar medicines (eg, ibuprofen) while taking this medicine unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Do not use this medicine if you have experienced asthma, runny nose with or without nasal polyps, or severe tightness in the chest after taking aspirin or similar medications. Contact your health care provider if changes in vision occur. This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Lab tests may be required to monitor therapy if you are taking this medicine long-term. Be sure to keep appointments. Do not stop taking this medicine without talking with your health care provider. Do not take any over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have taken too much of this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, restart medication and contact your health care provider.Do not take this medication if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medication you have experienced asthma, hives, runny nose, nasal polyps, or an allergic reaction after taking aspirin or similar medicationsBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement if you have impaired kidney function if you have impaired liver function if you are taking blood thinners or have a blood disorder if you are taking water pills if you have a history of fluid retention if you have high blood pressure if you have heart failure or heart disease if you smoke if you have a history of peptic ulcer or intestinal bleeding if you regularly consume large amounts of alcohol if you have any other medical conditionThis medicne may cause severe or fatal peptic ulceration, gastrointestinal bleeding and intestinal perforation. To minimize untoward side effects, take this medicine with food or milk.Most severe:  Severe allergic reaction (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); excessive bleeding; pounding in the chest; yellowing of the skin or eyes.Most common:  Drowsiness; swelling of the legs and feet; dizziness; depression; constipation; heartburn; stomach pain; nausea; headache; itching; skin eruptions; ringing in the ears; unusual bruising; thirst; stomach upset; indigestion.Other:  Diarrhea; inflammation of the mouth; lightheadedness; feeling of a whirling motion; sweating; purple patches under the skin; hearing problems; changes in vision.
