Drug Description:

This medicine is used to reduce fever and to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains.Store at room temperature.How much medicine you give and how often it is given depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are giving, talk with your health care provider. Shake well before using. Use the dropper supplied to make sure your child gets the correct dose. Never use spoons, droppers, or cups that come with other medicines. Fill dropper to the correct level and slowly squeeze the liquid into your child’s mouth, towards the cheek. This medicine may be given every 4 hours but not more than 5 times daily. If pain or fever persists or gets worse, if symptoms do not improve, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, stop using this medicine and consult a doctor. These could be signs of a serious condition. Stop using this medicine and contact your doctor if your child has a sore throat that is severe, lasts more than 2 days, or occurs with fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting. Do not give this medicine for more than 5 days for pain or for more than 3 days for fever unless directed by a health care provider. Do not use this medicine in children under 2 years of age or less than 24 pounds without consulting a physician. Talk with your doctor about your child’s previous medical history before giving this medicine. Do not give more medication than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your doctor. If a dose is missed, give it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Do not administer this medicine if your child is allergic to any ingredient in this medicine your child is taking another product that contains this medicineIf your child is 6 months old or younger, you should call your doctor at the first sign of illness. If you do not know if your child’s prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving this product. Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Do not use with other product containing acetaminophen. Stop use and ask a doctor if new symptoms occur, redness or swelling is present, pain gets worse or lasts for more than 5 days or fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days.
