• Trandolapril has the potential to increase potassium levels. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium.

FAQ

Does Mavik cause coughing?

People taking Mavik may develop a dry, persistent cough that usually disappears only after stopping or lowering the trandolapril dose. Be sure to tell your doctor of any cough which does not seem to be related to a usual cause.

How long does Mavik take to work?

For the treatment of high blood pressure, it may take 1 week before you get the full benefit of this drug. For the treatment of heart failure, it may take several weeks to months before you get the full benefit of this drug.
