Drug Description:

This medicine is used to relieve mild to moderate pain in patients 14 years of age and older for up to 7 days. It is also used to treat painful menstruation.Store between 59 to 86 degrees F. Protect from moisture.How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. Take this medicine with food. Contact your health care provider if signs or symptoms of stomach bleeding occur or if rash, weight gain or swelling occur. Contact your health care provider if any of the following occurs: Nausea; fatigue; lethargy; itching; yellowing of the skin or eyes; upper right side of the body tenderness; flu-like symptoms (headache; tiredness; muscle aches; fever). Contact your health care provider at once if a severe allergic reaction (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue) occurs while taking this medicine. Women who are pregnant should not take this medicine during the last trimester of pregnancy, as it may harm the developing fetus. This medicine may cause drowsiness or changes in vision. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, and physical dexterity. This medicine may cause sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and other ultraviolet (UV) light (eg, tanning beds). Use sunscreens and wear protective clothing until tolerance is determined. Lab tests may be required to monitor therapy. Be sure to keep appointments. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your doctor or health care provider. Contact your health care provider at once if you feel you have taken too much of this medicine. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medicines without talking with your doctor. This includes any herbal preparations or dietary supplements. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your doctor.
