Aromasin Drug Description:
This medicine is a first-line treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women.Store at room temperature in a cool dry place, protect from heat and light. Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. Certain drugs like Tamoxafen and estrogen containing drugs reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.Most severe: Allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives)Most common: Abdominal pain, accidental injury, anxiety, arthritis, back pain, bone pain, breast pain, cataracts, chest pain, constipation, cough, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, flu-like symptoms, fractures, headache, heart disease, high bloOther: Blood clots, bronchitis, confusion, drowsiness, feeling of illness, fever, hair thinning, heart attack, increased appetite, itching, muscle pain, nasal or sinus inflammation, neck pain, nervousness, severe blisters in the mouth or other mucous membranes, sluggishness, stroke, temporary tumor growth, tense muscles, vaginal bleeding, vaginal dryness, weight loss.
