Do not take any other over-the-counter or prescription medications without talking with your health care provider. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider or pharmacist.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine or to similar medications, if you have liver disease, have or have had benign or malignant liver tumors, have or may have breast cancer, have undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding, have a history of blood clots or strokeBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine if you have impairment of heart, lung, liver and kidney functionsTobacco smoking increases the risk of getting a blood clot or having a stroke while you are using this medicine, especially if you are more than 35 years old. You are strongly advised not to smoke.Most severe: Partial or complete loss of vision, bulging of the eye, double vision, migraineMost common: Breakthrough bleeding, spotting, change in menstrual flow, absence of periods, fluid retention, changes in weight (increase or decrease), changes in cervical erosion and cervical secretions, rash (allergic) with and without itching, depressionOther: Anxiety, depression, frustration, anger, or emotional outbursts, increased or decreased appetite, increased sensitivity to sun or ultraviolet light, nausea, skin rash, acne, or brown spots on the skin, tiredness, weight gain
