The combination of cantharidin, salicylic acid, and podophyllin is a topical liquid specifically designed to address plantar warts, a condition that arises when a virus infects the basal layer of the skin. This medication effectively reduces the thickness of treatment-resistant warts and can be used for warts located under or around the nail..

Uses and Dosage

This topical medication should only be applied externally. Utilize a pointed wooden applicator stick for the application process. Apply a single layer of the liquid to the wart and approximately 1 to 3 mm surrounding the wart.

After application, cover the treated area with a bandage for approximately 5 to 6 hours. Subsequently, wash the area and allow it to dry. If necessary, a new bandage can be applied.

Adhere strictly to the prescribed usage instructions. Do not modify the dosage or frequency of application unless instructed to do so by your healthcare provider.

Avoid discontinuing the use of this medication abruptly unless advised otherwise. Dosage adjustments are determined based on your overall medical condition and response to the treatment.

Avoid using excessive amounts, applying more frequently, or using for an extended period beyond the directed duration.

If your condition persists, worsens, or if you suspect a serious medical issue, seek immediate medical assistance.
