Uses and Dosage
Ensure you shake the bottle thoroughly before each dose. Accurately measure the dose using a specialized measuring device or spoon; avoid using a household spoon to ensure the correct dosage. Take this medication orally, with or without food, as directed by your doctor, typically every 8 or 12 hours. The prescribed dosage is determined by your medical condition and response to the treatment.
You can add the measured dose to formula, milk, juice, water, or ginger ale just before consumption. Consume the entire mixture to receive the full dose, and do not prepare the mixture ahead of time for future use.
Stay well-hydrated while using this medication unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
To maximize its effectiveness, take this antibiotic at regular intervals. Establish a routine by taking this medication at the same time(s) every day to aid in remembering.
Continue taking this medication until the entire prescribed amount is completed, even if symptoms alleviate after a few days. Ceasing the medication prematurely may lead to a recurrence of the infection.

How quickly does Amoxil work?
Amoxil does not relieve symptoms of infection immediately. Instead, it takes around 72 hours to relieve the symptoms in most people, though some people notice improvements within 24 to 48 hours.
Should Amoxil suspension be taken with food?
