Drug Description:
This medicine is used to relieve heartburn, sour stomach, or acid indigestion.Store at room temperature. Keep away from heat or flame. Do no freeze.How much medicine you take and how often it is taken depends on many factors, including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient. If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Take as needed or as directed by your health care provider. If you are taking an antibiotic, the dose of the antibiotic and this medicine must be separated by at least 3 hours. Do not take any over-the-counter or prescription medications or dietary supplements without talking with your health care provider. Patients with other medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up, unless advised to by your health care provider. If more than one dose is missed, contact your health care provider.Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicineBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding if you are taking any other prescription or nonprescription medicine or dietary supplements if you are taking a tetracycline or quinolone antibiotic if you have any other medical conditionDo not take this medicine for longer than 2 weeks or in larger than recommended doses unless directed by your doctor. If your symptoms persist, contact your doctor.
