Indications

In controlled clinical trials, the blend of 9 herbal extracts found in iberogast has demonstrated effectiveness in alleviating gastric and abdominal discomfort linked with functional gastrointestinal disturbances and motility-related conditions. These conditions include functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome. Iberogast can help with abdominal pain, heartburn, acid reflux, bloating, chronic constipation and nausea.

Uses and Dosage

Take iberogast before or alongside meals, three times daily.

For adults and children over 12 years old, take 20 drops (1.0 ml) three times daily. For children aged 6 to 12 years, administer 15 drops (0.75 ml) three times a day. For children aged 3 to 5 years, provide 10 drops (0.5 ml) three times daily.

Before each use, shake the bottle. Remove the white screw cap, invert the bottle, hold it at a 45° angle, and gently shake. Count the drops and mix them with a small amount of warm water (30 – 60 ml) or any preferred beverage.

Side Effects

Inform your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any serious side effects:

  • symptoms of liver injury
  • jaundice
  • dark urine
  • uncoloured stool
