Uses and Dosage
Apply this medication exclusively on the skin. Clean and thoroughly dry the designated area before treatment. Follow your doctor’s instructions and typically apply this medication 2 or 3 times a day to the affected skin.
Adhere to the prescribed dosage and treatment duration, which varies based on the type of infection. Avoid applying more frequently than directed.
Ensure you apply enough powder to lightly coat the affected area and some of the surrounding skin. After application, wash your hands unless you are using the medication to treat your hands.
Do not wrap, cover, or bandage the area unless specifically instructed by your doctor. If applying in the diaper area for an infant, avoid using tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants.
Avoid applying this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina.
Use the medication regularly at the same times each day to maximize its benefits.
Continue using the medication until the entire prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms vanish after a few days.
Discontinuing the medication prematurely may lead to a recurrence of the infection.
Inform your doctor if your condition persists after 2 weeks of treatment or worsens at any time.
