The combination of calcium and magnesium is classified as an antacid. Its composition works to counteract the acid in your stomach. By neutralizing the acid, this medication helps alleviate symptoms associated with stomach discomfort.
Uses and Dosage
Take this product orally as instructed. If it’s in chewable form, ensure to chew the medication thoroughly before swallowing. For the liquid form, shake the bottle well before each dose.
Adhere to all directions provided on the product packaging. Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose stated on the product package. If you have any inquiries, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

- Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication if you suffer from high calcium levels (hypercalcemia), stomach or intestinal blockage, or kidney disease (such as kidney stones).
- Some products may contain aspartame. If you have phenylketonuria (PKU) or any other condition that necessitates restricting your intake of aspartame (or phenylalanine), consult your doctor or pharmacist about using this drug safely.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication.
- This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.

Are Rolaids the same as TUMS?
