Filed under: Uncategorized — robertprice @ 8:59 am

Noritate cream is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent used to treat redness and inflammation associated with rosacea, a skin disorder, or reduce swelling due to injury or wound.

Before using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
If a reaction suggesting local skin irritation occurs, patients should be directed to discontinue use of the medication.

Discontinue use if condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days. Do not apply this medicine in large quantities, especially over raw surfaces or blistered areas.

Noritate is for external use only. Contact with the eyes and mouth should be avoided. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this drug as it may cause an upset stomach, vomiting, stomach cramps, headaches, sweating, and flushing (redness of the face). Avoid sunlight – wear protective clothing – as it may make your skin sensitive to sunlight.

Before using Noritate cream tell your doctor if you

  • are allergic to Noritate or any other drugs;
  • are using any prescription and nonprescription medications, especially anticoagulants (‘blood thinners’) and vitamins;
  • have had blood, kidney, or liver disease or Crohn’s disease.
